Rome Startup week is an event dedicated to the startup and innovation environment that will take place on April 2018 at the WeGil building in Trastevere.

The event, which is going to last the entire week, has three fundamental drivers: innovation, investment and entrepreneurship. During the week, national and international guests are going to confront each other, exchange ideas and share stories of successful young startuppers (someone who actually made it!).
Rome Startup Week is organized together with Regione Lazio, Comune di Roma and operators from the Startup environment. The challenge is to promote a new risk culture, better understand the logic behind this new innovation-based industrial model. Another goal is to invite politicians, investors, entrepreneurs, graduates, managers and professionals to participate to the new process of development of resources in the national territory.

Ernesto.it, the online platform to find professionals with a simple click, is doing a showcase at Rome Startup Week. Ernesto is a Startup founded by Riccardo De Bernardinis with 100 thousand professional subscribers. Furthermore, it has recently closed its first investment seed for € 130k with “Belpozos Inversiones SA”, a South American investment company.

The goal, for Ernesto, is to quickly connect who offers home related services with people that need an immediate intervention, building a digital infrastructure with the purpose of making life easier for users.
